Welcome From the Head of School

Greetings and welcome to The River Academy.

We are thrilled you have discovered our website and invite you to discover what makes a River Academy education unique. The River Academy was founded in 1998 with 12 students. We have grown a bit since then but have remained true to our moorings by continuing to partner with parents in educating their children to become the next generation of Christian leaders, equipped to shape culture through faithful, wise, and joyful Christian living.  

We do this by providing a solid Christian worldview education steeped in the classical tradition (also known as the Liberal Arts tradition).  This foundation, coupled with an intentionally joy-filled and relational environment, create a recipe for a truly unique educational opportunity for families living in our beautiful valley.
